Shelter Director Master Class: Black Leadership on The Rise

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

We all know that being a Domestic Violence Shelter Director is one of the toughest jobs that exist. One of my goals is to highlight black women in leadership and during this workshop I will interview Doris O’Neal, Shelter Director ,YWCA in Seattle, who is an African-American woman with deep ties to the Black Community. Doris and I will share our collective experience and wisdom as black women hiring staff, supervising and running a shelter. Joining this interview, Managers, Nature Carter and Jhitana Ball will share their collective insight in building creative solutions to meet survivors needs. We will have a REAL conversation about the struggles and success of Black Women on the rise to leadership.
